| | Catch the start of a new season!
We will be opening the Inn on April 29th, (pending final confirmation of opening day by the Dept. of Fisheries and Oceans) to celebrate the start of the 2009 lobster season and to offer you the unique experience of spending two nights at the Inn and waking to the sights and sounds of the fishing fleet leaving the harbour early in the morning on Setting Day.
The Setting Day package includes a buffet of mussels, lasagna and chilli the first evening. You will receive a wake up call to join us as we toast the fleet of 80 - 100 boats loaded with lobster gear as they sail past the front of the Inn and out the mouth of the harbour at 6:AM Monday morning. Then you may join us for a tempting breakfast including maple syrup crepes, apple crisp and hot egg stratus. The boats will be coming and going most of the day as they set their gear for the season. Take a stroll to the water and watch the fishers returning and enjoy the sights and sounds as the wharf comes to life for another season.
Join us that evening for a lobster boil on the patio (Inn guests only) $25.00 per person
